So much has changed since I last wrote on here (far too long ago!) and I feel like I owe you somewhat of an explanation. My life has been all over the place, and to be perfectly honest, it still is. However, I am finally getting to a stage where I want to create a stronger sense of stability and truly settle down. It's easy to see what this is due to; my biggest life update yet - pregnancy.
Pregnancy has forced me to slow down, to actually think about where I'm headed and how I can make the best for my little bubba who's only just over three short months from joining earthside. I feel excited and as if I have finally found my true purpose. It is one of our greatest gifts as women to be able to bring life into the world in such a close and connected way. I won't pretend it's been the easiest journey though. The first three months of my pregnancy involved horrible morning (more like all day) sickness, but feeling the little baby kicks now makes it all worth it + it gets easier!
I've had to make some life decisions recently that were really difficult for me. I struggle so much with picking one life path, I always like to have multiple pathways in view and this usually results in me juggling a lot more than I can actually manage, or having my focus so spread out between different things that I forget to put my attention where it's really needed. I realised that it's most important for me to focus on homemaking and family and everything else needs to take a backseat, this included my studies and my job, both of which I have had to sacrifice in order to be properly committed.
All I have wanted is to spend all the time I can appreciating this pregnancy and nurturing, as I'm sure you can understand! But between all that's going on and all the moving around at the moment, I am eternally grateful to have so many wonderful and beautiful people, like you, in my life supporting and inspiring me every day. I have so many exciting plans for the near future and I will be blogging regularly and sharing more insight into my life. I can't wait to be more open with you guys. I hope this post has made it clearer as to why things may have seemed a little all over the place recently and why things aren't as consistent as I'd like, but we're getting there!
